Jamestown (CSi) The Frontier Village Association has voted to approve hiring Nichole Mosolf, as its new manager.
She’s the daughter of association member and former Manager, Tina Busche
Former manager Colleen Conley resigned last month for health reasons.
Charlie Tanata, association president, said Mosolf was the only applicant for the position.
She’s employed as a paraeducator at Jamestown High School.
She’s a member of the Wild West Players, and has volunteered at Frontier Village .
The Village’s board has approved submitting three grant requests to Jamestown Tourism at their meeting later this month.
Included is a grant request for $34,930 to staff Frontier Village during the summer months.
Another is a grant request is for $14,025 for the horse operations run by Karen George during the summer months.
Also to be requested to tourism is $5,642 for the association’s Pioneer Days celebration planned for August 15-16, 2015.
Most of that grant, $4,000, will be used to cover the cost of having Ryan Keplin, his band and dancers from Belcourt, N.D., perform two shows on Aug. 15 in the amphitheater.
