Valley City (CSi) The Valley Development Corporation has announced that a Minnesota company plans to build a 40 unit apartment complex just west of an existing 36 unit along Winter Show Road in Valley City. Economic Development Director Jennifer Feist, says, pending final approval S.W. Design Inc. based out of Luverne & St. Joseph, Minnesota plans to start building the apartment complex on July 1st.

Members of Faith Lutheran Church held a ground breaking ceremony at the site of the future home of the new church located on the former Smith Lumber Company property in Valley City.

Pastor Jolene Knutson-Hanse says according to the contractor Enterprise Sales of Valley City the new structure should be completed by February of 2016. She says a few pews and stain glass windows from High Prairie Church near LaMoure will be used in the new church one the old church closes.
