Jamestown (CSi) Jamestown Police has released the names of those involved in a motorcycle-car accident about 2:09 pm on Tuesday at the intersection of First Avenue North and Second Street North.

Officer Justin Blinsky says the male motorcycle operator, 40 year old Shawn Durfee of Jamestown was taken by Jamestown Area Ambulance Service for treatment of a serious leg injury and later air lifted to a Fargo hospital .
The motorcycle was southbound on First Avenue, when it was struck by a car proceeding west on Second Street, crossing the intersection.
The female car driver, 91 year old, Helen Burleson of Jamestown was cited by police for failure to yield after stopping at the stop sign.
