Bismarck, ND (KCSi-T.V. News Jul 18, 2012) — The North Dakota Aeronautics Commission reports, statewide boardings for the month of June set another record and are up 15% from last year.
Director Larry Taborski says, “this comes with no surprise as North Dakota has been continually breaking monthly airline boarding records for almost two straight years.
Our travelers are varied – coming from and going to all sorts of places. It is great to see that North Dakotans are taking advantage of the investment in our airports. Businesses and individuals see the convenience and savings in time and money in airline travel.
Jamestown Boardings in June 2012, were 175, compared to 417 in June 2011.
In about a month, Jamestown flyers will be offered Delta Sky Miles, for frequent fliers, on flights to Minneapolis. Jamestown will also be listed in Delta Vacations, Vacation packages through Delta Vacation booking will be available from Jamestown on Great Lakes Airlines flights.
Irregular Operations, or IROP, will also be in place.
If a flight is delayed for a connecting flight, Delta officials will rebook and accommodate for passengers, instead of it being the passengers’ responsibility.
