Jamestown (CSi)  The Jamestown City Engineer’s Office Sunday informed residents that due to the large about of rain  received in the last week, access to the Inert Landfill is closed to everyone except City Employees until further notice.  The large amount of moisture has made the area in and around the Inert Landfill virtually impassible and dangerous to even the largest of our City equipment.

The city will notify the public when they can again safely haul items out to the inert landfill.
