Marketplace expansion planned

Valley City (CSi) Following action by the City Commission on Tuesday, Marketplace Foods owner, Keith Johanneson said the company plans to build a new liquor store, gas station and convenience store at the intersection of Main and Central Avenue in Valley City.

The city commission approved of selling a portion of the Rosebud Visitor Center parking lot near the future construction project.

Johanneson says the company expects to hire another 20 to 25 people after the renovation and construction projects.
