Street closure, hydrant flushing this week.

Jamestown  (CSi)  The Jamestown City Engineer’s Office, reminds residents of work going on this week.
On Wednesday, June 24, 2015, 5^th Ave SE, between 2^nd St & 3^rd St SE, will be closed to traffic, due to utility work. The work is expected to be completed and the street is expected to be re-opened to traffic late in the day on Friday, June 26^th 2015. The work and anticipated street closure schedule are contingent upon weather conditions.

Motorists and other traffic should use extreme caution when entering road construction areas. The public should consider alternate routes if possible.

City crews will begin flushing fire hydrants this week beginning approximately on Wednesday, June 24, 2015.

Crews will start flushing in the SE & SW areas of the City and continue the work during normal working hours until completed.

Please be aware of the possibility of lowered water pressure in these areas.
