Jamestown, ND (KCSi-T.V. News) — The Jamestown Holiday Dazzle Parade was held on Friday evening (Nov 23, 2012) through downtown Jamestown. 45 floats were entered.  The Jamestown Main Street Downtown Association reported the winning float entries in the contest, judged before the parade, during the lineup at McElroy Park.

Parade Judges were: Chris Rathjen, Jessica Haak, and Alex Looysen. The winner of the $500 First Place float was: Kitchen Solvers. The winner of the $250 Second Place Award was: Real Truck. The winner of the $100 Third Place Award was: Jamestown Area Ambulance Service.

Downtown Association, Ambassedor, Charlie Kourajian estimated that between 2,000 and 2,500 parade-goers enjoyed the lights and music, and commented on the wonderfully decorcated floats..

Following the parade, the community was invited to Shady’s at the Gladstone Inn & Suites for the After Parade Party. The Jamestown Choralaires was hand to lead Christmas Sing-A-Longs.

Coffee, Hot Chocolate and cookies were served compliments of Shady’s and Coborn’s of Jamestown.
