CSi Broadband today (Dec 1, 2013) announced changes in speeds for its STANDARD Home & Business Internet services for Jamestown and Valley City, in an email to its customers. The Standard residential High Speed service will increase up to 16mbps.  In addition to the changes in the STANDARD speeds, a variety of optional faster speeds will be available by December 10,  including a new TURBO 25, providing home users downloads up to 25 mbps.

 

From Email Notice to CSiCable.net users:

1. SPEED CHANGE December 7, 2012: No action is required on your part

Standard Residential High Speed Internet: Old speed: 9mbps New Speed: 16mbps

Standard Business High Speed Internet: Old speed: 10mbps New Speed: 20mbps

No change for: Residential Economy 1mbps & all other specialty business services

2. NEW SPEED CHOICES Dec 10, 2012:

HOME users needing even more speed can upgrade to TURBO 25, ULTRA 35, or eXtreme 50. These require the use of a Docsis 3 modem. More information is being mailed and emailed.

BUSINESS Internet Service users will have more new download speed options of 30, 40, & 55 mbps. Contact Lloyd, CSi Business Services Manager, at 252-1835 for details & pricing.

3. PRICE CHANGE NOTICE : As of January 1, 2013, the retail price for the following Internet services will increase $2.00 per month. The increase will be reflected on the next bill: Standard Residential High Speed bundled with TV,  Standard Residential High Speed Unbundled Internet Only, Standard Business bundled with TV, Standard Business Unbundled Internet Only, and 256k residential specialty ($2.04/mth increase).
