BISMARCK, ND (Dec 17, 2012) – On behalf of Governor Jack and First Lady Betsy Dalrymple, all North Dakotans are invited to attend the Governor’s Inaugural Celebration on January 11, 2013, at the Civic Center in Bismarck.

The celebration theme is “Creating our Future, Together,” and will highlight the many ways that North Dakotans have and will work together to enhance our state’s economy, our education system and our quality of life.

The event is free and open to the public. Formal attire is optional.

 Republican Gov. Jack Dalrymple was elected in November, beating Democrat Ryan Taylor.

A program featuring talent from across North Dakota, a Grand March of our statewide elected officials, and a dance will all be part of the evening’s activities. More information will follow.

The Governor’s Inaugural Celebration is hosted by the Citizens Inaugural Committee, a volunteer organization. The event is funded by individual and corporate donations from across the state.
