Fighting Hawks men’s hockey back on top in one poll

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) – The University of North Dakota men’s hockey team has regained the top spot in one of the national polls.

The Fighting Hawks are No. 1 in this week’s USCHO.com poll and No. 2 in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll, behind Quinnipiac, after a sweep of Alabama Huntsville last weekend. UND moved up one spot in both polls.

Defending national champion Providence fell from No. 1 to No. 3 in both polls.
