The NDDOT, male pickup drivers and passengers are the least likely to buckle up in North Dakota. Their recent survey found that one of three male pickup passengers in the state are unbelted.
Karin Mongeon, Safety Division Director at NDDOT says, “Low seat belt use puts light truck occupants at high risk. This type of vehicle is represented in the majority of fatalities resulting from single vehicle rollover crashes.”
