Jamestown (CSi) University of Jamestown head football coach Josh Kittell has announced his coaching staff. Jason Challeen, Dan Smith and Travis Titus return to join newcomers Joey Blackmore, Carlton Littlejohn and Andrew Shirek.
All three new members of the Jimmie coaching staff have ties to North Dakota State which just won its fifth consecutive FCS championship.
Blackmore will serve as UJ defensive coordinator after serving as a defensive assistant for NDSU the past two seasons.
Littlejohn was a star linebacker for North Dakota State from 2011-14. A Minneapolis native, Littlejohn played in 59 of 61 possible games and made 43 starts as part of four straight Missouri Valley Football Conference and NCAA Division I FCS national championship teams.
Shirek has been a member of the North Dakota State strength and conditioning staff for three years. He also served as a strength and conditioning intern at the University of Montana for one year and a performance specialist intern at EXOS Athletes Performance Institute in Phoenix.
