FARGO, N.D. (AP) – Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota has hired former state Rep. Pam Gulleson for the position of vice president of Public Affairs.
Gulleson, who lost to Kevin Cramer in the U.S. House race in November, will assume the responsibilities of the newly created position in January at the company’s Fargo headquarters.
Gulleson will work with the company’s government relations team and have both federal and state responsibilities.
Paul von Ebers, president and chief executive officer of Blue Cross, says Gulleson brings extensive experience in legislative policy, strategy and health education to the job.
Gulleson says she’s pleased to join the company and looks forward to drawing from her health care and public policy experience.
