merrickthomasJamestown (CSi) A tentative, confidential, settlement in wrongful death and personal injury lawsuits against David Troske is under review by Southeast District Court Judge Thomas Merrick.

The terms of the settlement were not released.

Troske is accused of shooting and killing 41 year old Donald “Donnie” Perleberg, of Pingree, and shooting and wounding 51 year old Mary Seiler, of New Rockford, at a wedding reception on September 6, 2015 at the Eagles Club in New Rockford.

A motion hearing on the civil lawsuits filed against Troske was heard for both lawsuits Wednesday.

Merrick did not issue a ruling at the hearing but agreed to take the matter under advisement.

Troske faces criminal charges of murder, a Class AA felony, attempted murder, a Class A felony, aggravated assault, a Class B felony, three counts of reckless endangerment, Class C felonies, and carrying a firearm into a bar or gaming site, a Class A misdemeanor.

Troske was bound over for trial after a preliminary hearing on December 18, 2015. A trial date on the criminal charges has not been set.
