Blue Jays Wanzek agrees to play football, UND

Jamestown (CSi) Jamestown High School Blue Jay Noah Wanzek has verbally committed to the UND football team, to play wide receiver, attending on a scholarship.

As a senior, at JHS, he made 36 receptions for 620 yards and four touchdowns. Wanzek’s receiving yardage was almost 60 percent of Jamestown’s passing offense.

As the Blue Jays punter, Wanzek had a 72-yard punt in a game last season and also posted multiple boots of 55-plus yards. He also plays free safety.

Wanzek chose UND over Minnesota State-Moorhead for football and the University of Jamestown for basketball.
