Jamestown (CSi) The Frontier Village will not be receiving $6,000 in anticipated funding from Stutsman County.
Frontier Village Association Secretary-Treasurer Tina Busche said a Stutsman County mill levy grant request is not on the approved grants list.
She added the Association was directed to have its accountant submit additional documents that did not arrive by the July 28 deadline.
Board President, Charlie Tanata was told by Stutsman County that the grant application went missing, and that he plans to bring the matter to the County Commission.
Busche said the FVA will now have to make up that funding elsewhere. The current operating balance in the FVA budget is $5,904, the $6,000 loss from the request will need to be addressed at a future meeting.
