Jamestown (CSi) Plans are moving forward for the new bookmobile.
The James River Valley Library System Board of Directors approved finalizing the order through OBS Inc.,of Ohio, a company that makes specialty vehicles.
The total cost for the vehicle is $239,502, with 46 individual gifts and 10 business gifts to help fund the bookmobile. Each gift was anywhere from $25 to $500.
The bookmobile is expected to arrive by August.
