Jamestown (CSi) In his superintendent’s report to the Jamestown Public School Board Monday Superintendent Rob Lech recommended replacing a failing swimming pool heating system that will cost up to $150,000. An engineering problem that allows condensation to drain onto the school roof is also a concern, and will be addressed at the same time a new heating system that is easier to maintain.
The board announced the JHS principal hiring committee to include School Board members Roger Haut and Brenda Roemmich, with John Conway as the administrative representative, along with middle school Principal Ryan Harty to be the Central Office representative. Lynn Kosel and Shelly Moltzen will be the two teachers on the committee.
The position was announced on Feb. 2 and a recommendation will be given to the board on March 21.
