Daniel’s attorney, Russel Myhre of Valley City asked Judge Greenwood to lower Daniel’s bail to a lesser amount because he cannot come up with $3,000. The maximum penalty for a Class A felony is 20 years in prison and a $20,000 fine. The maximum penalty for a Class C felony is five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
