Buffalo, ND (KCSi-T.V. News Dec 28, 2012) — The Highway Patrol reports, two men were injured in a two vehicle accident Friday about 9:30-a.m., on Interstate 94 near the Buffalo Exit.
Captain Brian Niewind reports, that a pickup truck operated by 24-year-old Blaine Weyrauch of Mandan, was eastbound on the icy roadway, towing a Montana travel trailer when he lost control of the vehicle.
The vehicle crossed the median and spun onto the westbound lanes, into the path of a Peterbilt semi operated by 54-year-old John Wankel of Woodville, Texas.
The semi struck the pickup with the semi entering into the north ditch, jackknifing.
Both drivers received non-life threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by the NDHP.
