Jamestown (CSi) University of Jamestown women’s track & field coach Jim Clark announces that Brienne Roehrich, who will be a 2016 graduate of Valley City High School, has signed a North Star Athletic Association Letter of Intent and plans to participate in track & field for the Jimmies.
Coach Clark says, ”Brienne is an outstanding student and I predict she will do well in the field of nursing. I really like that Brienne is a multi-sport athlete. She was one of the top gymnasts in North Dakota, recently placing 7th in the state gymnastics meet in the all-around competition. She was also a member of the Hi-Liner volleyball team. Her senior year in gymnastics was her best and hopefully that will carry over into a great senior season in track. She is a good hurdler and jumper and I know she is willing to work or she would not be in three sports. That is a good formula for success. I am excited that Brienne has chosen to join the Jimmies. She will be a welcome addition to the team.”
Brienne is the daughter of Scott and Carina Roehrich of Valley City, and plans to study Nursing.
