Valley City (CSi) Five Valley City residents have taken out a petition to run for two Valley City Commission seats up  election during the June 14, 2016 election.

The commission seats of Madeline Luke and Mary Lee Nielson are up for election. Nielson says she’ll seek re-election.

Luke will not be running for the city commission seat due to family obligations. She says she’ll continue to work on projects that she started as much as the new commission allows.

Those taking taken out to run for City Commissioner include:

  • Terry Jones
  • Rick Ross
  • Mary Lee Nielson
  • Mike Bishop
  • Jeff Edwards (former mayoral candidate)

Interested Valley City residents have until April 11th at 4-p.m., to turn in to City Hall, the necessary signatures to run in the June 14th election.
