FARGO, N.D. (AP) – A Minnesota man has established a benefit fund for the families of six Missouri men killed in a crash in North Dakota the day after Christmas.
The men were with a construction company and were heading to a work site when their pickup slid off an icy Interstate 94, crossed the median into oncoming traffic and collided with a semitrailer.
Randy Kremer, of Moorhead, Minn., says he set up a fund to help with funeral expenses. He says the bodies of some of the men are being sent back to their home villages in Mexico. He says when he heard the story he felt terrible for the families.
Donations to the Jamestown Accident Victims Funeral Fund can be made at any Wells Fargo Bank branch.
