Two male juveniles, charged multiple burglaries

Valley City (CSi) The Barnes County Sheriff’s Office reports, that two male juveniles, ages 16 and 17, have been charged with committing eight burglaries.

The charges followed an investigation of the burglaries that occurred in the southeast corner of Barnes County between October 2015 and March. The juveniles reportedly entered vacant farmsteads and stole various items.

Most of the stolen items have been recovered, according to the Sheriff’s Office. Some of the stolen items were recovered from a pawn shop in Fargo.

Neither of the two juveniles are residents of Barnes County, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
