Stuts Cnty LibraryJamestown (CSi) The Alfred Dickey and Stutsman County Public Libraries will be offering temporary library cards to those briefly living in the area,

On Monday the James River Valley Library System Board of Directors unanimously approved the action.

Library director, Joe Rector added that he receives several requests weekly for patrons interested in using the library but not planning permanent residence in Jamestown.

The cards will be available for a $10 fee for three months of use, Rector said. Those using temporary cards will be limited to checking out three items at a time.

The board also unanimously approved spending about $9,500 to make the shelving in the main area of the library adjustable. The project will be completed by S & S Cabinets of Jamestown.
