Ottertail2Jamestown  (CSi) Otter Tail Power Company in Jamestown reports that high winds early Monday morning led to trees falling on electrical wires causing power outages in Northwest and Southeast Jamestown.

Jeff Hoff in the Jamestown office  says at 12:12 a.m., Monday a wind-blown tree damaged a line causing a breaker to open in the area of Evergreen Heights.

The power was restored at 4:47-a.m.  He was unsure of the number of customers affected.

Hoff pointed out that the early Monday morning storm  with strong wind caused an amount of tree damage in the Northwest part of Jamestown.

He says another wind-blown tree on a line event, caused a power outage in a part of Southeast Jamestown between 5:58-a.m., and 7:05 a.m.

There, 985 customers were without power.

In Valley City, there were three isolated power outages reported due to tree branches falling on power lines that burned.

A power outage was also reported Monday morning in the Medina area stemming from high wind.
