Jamestown (CSi) Eastern North Dakota Monday, received a deserved break from heavy rainfall that fell on Sunday.
The National Weather Service reported that Sunday Jamestown received 2.48 inches of rain in sporadic heavy down pours accompanied by thunderstorms.
On Sunday the CSi Weather computer in downtown Jamestown at Historic Franklin School recorded 3.20 inches.
On Monday under a cloudy sky and mist and fog just.02 inch was recorded on the CSi Weather computer, and a trace at the Jamestown weather station.
The Grand forks area encounter significant street flooding on Sunday with rainfall amounts ranging from 3- inches to 5-7 inches.
Just a trace was reported in Wahpeton and 0.23 inches in Fargo.

The National Weather Service says Tuesday through Sunday there’s various chances for thunderstorms late Tuesday through Sunday, with the greatest chances on Wednesday
