Johanna Teubner, age 92, of Valley City died January 11th at the Sheyenne Care Center in Valley City.

Johanna Elfriede Teubner was born March 26, 1920 in Germany the daughter of George B. and Cleta (Langer) Teubner. She came to the US with her mother and lived with her parents in Chicago where she attended school and grew up. She worked for awhile and then attended Valley City State University and the University of North Dakota and received a degree in education. She taught school at various places including Valley City for 16 years and Lewis and Clark State College in Idaho for 5 years. She returned to Valley City in 1976 and has made her home here since. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and participated in it’s women’s circle.

Per Johanna’s request no services will be conducted and burial will be with her parents in Oakwood Cemetery at Lisbon, ND. Lerud-Schuldt Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
