
Jamestown (CSi) Jamestown Police has confirmed that the prisoner that escaped earlier from custody near the State Hospital was apprehended. The initial Code Red Alert came in at 5:30-p.m., followed by another Code Red issued at 6:50-p.m. saying the 20 year old Larimore man had been apprehended, following a two hour search of the area.
20 year old Bryan Satterwhite was being held at the State Hospital, and was in the process of being transferred to a law enforcement van, to Grand Forks, when he fled.
Local law enforcement activated the James Valley Special Operations Unit west of the State Hospital, to assist in the search, which was assisted by the Jamestown City Fire Department’s enhanced vision equipment.
He was taken into custody by the Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office, and transferred to Grand Forks.
Charges are pending in Stutsman County in connection with the incident.

Previously the Jamestown Police Department, at 5:30-p.m. Wed Nov 9, 2016, issued a Code Red Alert, to be on the look out for a 20 year old white male, that escaped from law enforcement custody near the State Hospital in SE Jamestown, and is wanted for aggravated assault. He is wearing shorts, a plaid shirt, a grey sweatshirt, and black socks and no shoes. He is handcuffed and wearing belly chains. If you see him do not approach, contact law enforcement at 701-252-1000.
