spiritwoodenergypark1Spiritwood  (CSi)  A Cargill spokesman says bout a dozen jobs will be cut  at the Cargill Malt Plant in Spiritwood.

Spokesman Pete Stoddart says 10 to 15 people will be laid off from their jobs. He says the decision was made in order to stay aligned with the current business environment.

Stoddart adds, Cargill is committed to managing this transition and appropriate support will be provided to all impacted individuals.

He says Cargill will remain an active contributor to the local community and is committed to our local farmers, suppliers and the overall beer and malting industry.
