SchoolBoard2015filephotoJamestown (CSi)  The Jamestown Public School Board Monday, voted to finalize a facility use agreement with Two Rivers Activity Center (TRAC).

The agreement calls for the authorization for two land swap agreements related to the TRAC project.

JPS Superintendent Robert Lech, says it provides the terms for the school district to use the TRAC facility through the Jamestown Parks and Recreation for some time.

TRAC facilities manager, Amy  Walter said the 15-acre TRAC property includes a 7-acre JPS portion in assessed value of $800,000 and 8 acres that were deeded back to JPS from Jamestown Parks and Recreation through a swap with Jamestown Regional Medical Center in assessed value of $450,000.

The $350,00 difference in the land exchange will be deducted through services.

Lech added the agreement essentially ensures that TRAC will accommodate JPS fitness and sports activities but makes public use the number one priority.

The meeting was recorded by CSi 10 The Replay Channel with showings starting Tuesday.
