Tourism funds White Cloud preservation project

Jamestown  (CSi)  Jamestown Tourism has appropriated $2,500 in funds to the National Buffalo Museum which will go to the White Cloud preservation project estimated at a cost of $70,000.

The amount is 50 percent of the funds remaining from the annual lease of White Cloud as part of the Museum’s herd.

In May, this year White Cloud was returned to her owner at Shirek Buffalo Farm in Michigan, North Dakota  where she died November 14^th.   Roughly half of the lease funds were remaining since White Cloud’s return.
