Bismarck (CSi) North Dakota Insurance Commissioner Adam Hamm reminds North Dakota’s Medicare beneficiaries that the Medicare Part D open enrollment period ends December 7, 2016 . Medicare Part D provides prescription drug coverage.
“Part D plans change every year,” Hamm said, “so I encourage everyone to review them to make sure they’re getting the coverage they need at the lowest cost.”
Medicare beneficiaries can still do a plan comparison 24 hours a day, seven days a week online at Medicare.gov or by calling Medicare at 1-800-633-4227. Hold times can be long this time of year so callers should phone in as soon as possible.
