Mandan  (CSi)  The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports that on February 1, 2017,  a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling on a closed portion of N.D. Highway 1806 south of Mandan. The vehicle entered the Ft. Rice traffic control point. The driver was informed he could not travel on the closed road.

The driver, 29 year old Douglas Dias, of Santa Rosa, California, admitted to having marijuana in the vehicle and was traveling to the Prairie Knights Casino. The marijuana was located after a subsequent search of the vehicle.

Dias and passenger 37 year old Jennifer Green, of Santa Rosa, California, were arrested for possession of marijuana with the intent to deliver.

A search of the vehicle resulted in seizure of the following items:

  • approximately three pounds of marijuana
  • marijuana wax
  • drug paraphernalia
  • more than $7,000 in cash
  • three high capacity magazines for AR15-style rifles
