EDGELEY, N.D. (AP) — Sheriff’s officials say a man hunting coyotes in LaMoure County has died of an accidental shooting.

KFGO Radio reports, he has been identified as 57 year old Ronald Rechtzigel, of Cannon Falls, Minnesota.

Sheriff Bob Fernandes says he was with two others hunting northeast of Edgeley Tuesday. Fernandes says Rechtzigel died at the scene. The sheriff says the shooting does not appear to be suspicious.
