Jamestown  (CSi)  The Jamestown Police is asking for the public’s assistance to  identify a male subject who robbed a motel in Jamestown on February  2, 2017.

Lt. Leroy Gross said  a man wearing a black hoodie robbed the motel located in Southwest Jamestown.  The name of the motel was being withheld as the motel’s owner invoked his or her rights as victims under the state’s Marsy’s Law.

Gross said the man told the motel clerk he had a gun, but no weapon was displayed , and he left the scene in a car, described as a small black four door.

The man is described about 6 feet tall with a slender build, age 20 to 28, with dark skin, no facial hair or glasses.

He wore curly hair that goes down his forehead to his eyebrows and spoke with a foreign accent.
