NEW ORLEANS (AP) – Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis spent much of yesterday’s Super Bowl media day ducking questions concerning a Sports Illustrated report that says he used deer antler spray to speed up his recovery from a torn right triceps. Lewis dismissed the report as “stupidity” as he prepares for his final game before retiring at age 37.

NEW YORK (AP) – The Miami New Times has obtained files from a recently closed anti-aging clinic in South Florida linking Alex Rodriguez and other baseball players to the purchase of performance-enhancing drugs. Major League Baseball says it is “extremely disappointed” and is actively involved in the investigation. Other players on the list include 2012 All-Star game MVP Melky Cabrera, 2012 Cy Young Award finalist Gio (JEE’-oh) Gonzalez, former Cy Young Award winner Bartolo Colon (bahr-TOH’-loh kuh-LOHN’) and Nelson Cruz.
