Jamestown  (CSi)  Friends of the James River Valley Library System is establishing a Spring 2017 Membership Drive.

The goals include:

Increasing awareness of the importance of the library to the community.

Advocate for the renovation and expansion of the library.

Raise funds for the renovation and expansion of the library.

Promote the digital, electronic, and traditional diversity of services the library offers.

Assist in children’s and adult programming.

 

The Friends first priority is to expand its membership to include individuals and businesses that understand and support the essential role the library plays in the community.

Membership application bookmarks are available at the Alfred Dickey and Stutsman County Libraries.

Upcoming events with the library include:

A booth at the Spring Home & Garden Show on Saturday & Sunday April 22 & 23, 2017, at the Jamestown Civic Center, booth 83 on the main floor.

Love Your Library Week, at the Alfred Dickey Public Library the week of April 24-28, 2017.

The event brings attention to the many programs and learning opportunities for the residents of Jamestown and Stutsman County.
