Fargo  (CSi)  – U.S. Senator Heidi Heitkamp,  announced Thursday that she will vote for 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Neil Gorsuch to fill a vacancy on the U.S. Supreme Court.

She says, “He has a record as a balanced, meticulous, and well respected jurist who understands the rule of law.”

The Senate Judiciary Committee is slated to vote Monday, April 4, on whether to recommend Gorsuch for full Senate confirmation.
