Jamestown (CSi) The Jamestown City Fire Department was called about 7:45-p.m., Saturday to a brush fire near frontier Village, across from the amphitheater entrance.
City Fire Chief, Jim Reuther says the fire at the gravel road north of the Village at 16th Street Southeast involving about a 30 by 30 foot area was likely caused by discarded smoking materials in the area of dry vegetation.
Five city fire units and 18 fire fighters responded and were on the scene about 25 minutes..
