Jamestown (CSi) Jamestown High School Freshmen participated Thursday May 4, 2017 completing their Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training.
This is the seventh year of the program at Jamestown High School.
Stutsman County Emergency Manager Jerry Bergquist says since the start of the program CERT has trained about 834 students at Jamestown Public Schools, 103 participated this year.
Jamestown Drama students acted as “victims.” of the simulated disaster, complete with makeup. Jamestown’s program has gained national attention.
A “graduation ceremony” followed the exercise at Jamestown High School.
