Updated:  Jamestown  (CSi)  The Jamestown Rural Fire Department responded to a report of a grain dryer fire at Country Grain Co-op at Eldridge at 10: 51 a.m., Monday May 8.

Jamestown Rural Fire Chief Ben Maulding says, fire was out on arrival although there were some hot spots remaining in the dryer unit, with minimal damage reported.

Crews emptied grain.

No injuries were reported.
