Jamestown (CSi) Jamestown Police Chief Scott Edinger says during a “Warrant Roundup,” agencies, Wednesday made a total of 14 arrests, and five committals to the State Hospital.
He says the Warrant Roundup is conducted about once a month in conjunction with the Jamestown Police Department, the Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office, The Stutsman County Narcotics Task Force, North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation and North Dakota Parole and probation.
Chief Edinger also reported that about 5:15 -p.m. Wednesday at 4th Avenue Northwest, a vehicle failed to stop for authorities and an arrest was made following a high-risk traffic stop.
He say occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody, stemming from Task Force initiated incident.
Edinger says one individual was apprehended at the bottom of the hill near Sunnyside Trailer Court stemming from the same incident.
