Jamestown  (CSi) Tuesday afternoon local police began a search for a child reported missing.

The call came at 12:44pm. Police searched for the child until  3:21-pm, when the child was located.

The Eight year old child was last seen in Southeast Jamestown Tuesday morning at 10-am.

Jamestown Police Day Shift Supervisor Sgt. Tyler Loven, says the boy was staying with relatives and apparently had wandered off.  The Child was located at a residence in  southeast Jamestown, known to the child,  safe and unharmed.

Loven says the boy was at the location during the time of the search.

Jamestown Police was assisted by the Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office.
