Jamestown (CSi) The All Vets Club in Jamestown will host a Viet Nam Memory Night on Friday June 16, starting at 5-p.m.

The event will honor the lives lost during the Viet Nam War, 1963-1975.

On a recent  Wayne Byers Show on CSi Cable 2, Stutsman County Veterans Service Officer, David Bratton said, veterans and their families are invited.  There will be a short presentation with the reading of the 203 names of those from North Dakota who gave their lives in action.  Ten Viet Nam veterans, family members or volunteers will be asked to each read about 20 names.

Dinner will be served at a cost.

Also on our show, he said a telephone scam is circulating under the pretense of calling concerning the Veterans Choice program, as the caller asks for personal information such as a social security number, and credit card information.

David said that the V.A. never asks for the information over the phone and should not be given out.

The Stutsman County Veterans Service Offices is located in the lower level of the Law Enforcement Center in Jamestown, open Monday through Friday 8-a.m. to noon, and 1-p.m., to 5-p.m.
