Bismarck  (CSi)   The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports, on Tuesday at 2:56 p.m., a truck towing an oversized modular home was westbound on I-94 into the Bismarck area. The driver, Johnathan Squires of Watford City, entered road construction at milepost 160 east of State Street, where a narrowed, single lane would not allow the load to pass.

The truck was temporarily stopped at the entrance to the narrowed lane, backing up westbound traffic. Troopers and Northern Improvement Construction moved the truck onto the roadway. The trailer was backed partially into the median away from the narrowed lane. Westbound traffic was temporarily diverted around the truck and modular home.

Troopers escorted the truck and modular home in the westbound lane past the narrowed lane to a local truck stop.  The driver was cited for violating his permit.
