Jamestown (CSi)  The Jamestown City Fire Department was called out about 7:20 Wednesday morning to John L. Wilson Arena in Jamestown, to a report of smoke from a locker room.

City Fire Department Lt. Sheldon Mohr says the fire started in the Blue Jays locker room, causing minimal fire damage, however there was considerable smoke damage.

The building was unoccupied at the time of the fire, which was smoldering material on the floor.

No injuries reported, with the cause undetermined.  Early estimates put the smoke damages well above $100,000.   Ice logos stored in the locker room were destroyed.

Five City Fire Units and 25 firefighters were on the scene about an hour.
