Jamestown (CSi)  The Jamestown Police Department is warning residents of a convicted sex offending, living in Jamestown.

Patrick Wayne Schmitz has changed address and now resides at 316 4th Avenue, SW #2, Jamestown, ND

His vehicles are a green/blue 1995 Saturn SW2 with North Dakota license, KOU 872, and a 2005 Ford truck, North Dakota license plate 411 BUU.

Schmitz is a 31 year old white male six feet tall, weighing 210 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair.

Schmitz has been assigned a high risk assessment by the North Dakota risk level committee of the North Dakota Attorney General’s Office.

Offense:  Gross Sexual Imposition, when he was 23 years old involving a 14 year old girl he met on line.

He also kissed and fondled another 14 year old girl.

Conviction Date:  July 27, 2010 Cass County, ND District Court.

Disposition:  Count 1&2 10 years, 7 years 3- months suspended, 5 years supervised probation, count 1&2 concurrent.

Offense:  Luring a minor by computer, when he was 23 years old.

Disposition:  10 years, 7 years 3- months suspended, 5 years supervised probation, count 1&2 concurrent.

Schmitz is currently on probation with North Dakota Parole and Probation.

Schmitz is not wanted by police at this time and has served the sentence imposed by the court.

Any attempts to harass, intimidate or threaten these offenders, their families, landlords, or employers will be turned over for prosecution.
