Hillsboro (CSi) The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports a rollover Sunday about 1-a.m., led to the death of a Grand Forks man.
The report says a pickup pulling a trailer north on I- 29 10 miles north of Hillsboro lost control and entered the median, where the trailer became disconnected, and rolled with the pickup coming to rest on its top.
The 73 year-old Grand Forks man, identified as Harold Weivoda, a passenger died at the scene. The 59 year-old man driving the pickup William Sand of Grafton, was air lifted to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Both occupants were wearing seatbelts
The Traill County Sheriff’s Office, andHillsboro Fire, Rescue assisted at the scene.
The cause of the crash is under investigation with the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
